We’re on a mission to create a healthy workplace where people feel valued and supported. To strengthen our internal operations, we’re looking for a proactive and strategic People & Culture Manager who will also oversee and develop our Office Management function.

 About the role

We are seeking a Senior People & Culture Manager, part-time (>30 hrs) or fulltime, who continues building up the HR department and bringing it to the next level. We are looking for someone with seniority who can guide through the entire employee journey, provide guidance for employees and management, but also for someone who likes to work hands-on within a small team. This is a dual-role opportunity that combines strategic People & Culture leadership with hands-on responsibility for the daily operations and atmosphere of our physical workspace. You’ll drive HR initiatives while ensuring our office environment reflects and supports our culture, productivity, and values.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire our small team (1 direct report), fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders and managers on all HR-related topics

  • Lead and execute key People & Culture initiatives (e.g. performance reviews, engagement surveys, learning and development programs)

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal HR policies

  • Act as a change agent for organizational development and transformation

  • Support payroll preparation in coordination with finance or external providers

  • Oversee recruiting and ensure that our processes in recruiting run smoothly

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in People & Culture or Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

  • Strong generalist HR knowledge with experience across key functional areas

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; you know how to influence and inspire others

  • A hands-on professional with a structured, strategic mindset

  • Passion for culture, people, and continuous improvement

  • Preferably highly proficient in German (Native Level) and fluent in English

  • Coaching is a plus
